WPL 2024: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have made a great start in the second season of WPL. The team led by Smriti Mandhana has won both its opening matches. In its second match, RCB defeated Gujarat Giants by 8 wickets.

Royal Challengers Bangalore bowlers put up a disciplined performance and restricted Gujarat Giants to 107 runs for seven wickets. RCB team has achieved this target with 45 balls remaining and has reached the top in the points table.

Shreyanka Patil got marriage proposal :-

In this match, during RCB’s innings, a fan had proposed marriage to Shreyanka Patil on a placard and as soon as the placard was shown on the camera, all the players in the RCB team were seen smiling.

This entire incident happened in the 7th over of RCB’s innings in which some fans were shown on TV, one of whom was holding a placard on which it was written ‘Will you marry me Shreyanka Patil.’

Let us tell you that despite being a part of the team in both the matches this season, Shreyanka Patil has not been able to impress much till now.

The match between RCB and GG was like this :-

Talking about the match, Smriti Mandhana scored 43 runs in 27 balls with the help of eight fours and one six. Whereas S Meghna added 36 runs in 28 balls which included five fours and a six. Both of them made a partnership of 40 runs for the second wicket and the team reached the target of 108 runs in 12.3 overs.

Earlier, RCB bowlers restricted Gujarat Giants to 107 runs for seven wickets. Fast bowler Renuka Singh took two wickets for 14 runs and left arm spinner Sophie Molineau took three wickets for 25 runs.
