WPL 2024 Awards: Know who got which prize after the end of the second season of WPL

WPL 2024 Awards: In WPL 2024, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team and their fans finally fulfilled the dream for which their eyes were waiting for the last 16 years. Finally, RCB felt the feeling of winning the title for the first time. Mandhana Brigade won its first title by defeating Delhi Capitals by 8 wickets in the final.

Many players and all the teams performed brilliantly in WPL 2024, for which they were also awarded awards. Let us know who received which award for their special performance in WPL 2024.

WPL Final 2024 Awards :-

• First of all, if we talk about Player of the Match in the WPL 2024 Final, this award and the cash prize of Rs 2.5 lakh was won by Sophie Malineux of RCB.
• So in the same final, Most Successes of the Match and cash prize of Rs 1 lakh was won by DC’s Shefali Verma.

WPL 2024 Awards :-

• The EV Electric Powerful Striker of the Season award and a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh was won by RCB’s Georgia Wareham, who scored 111 runs at a strike rate of 163.23.
• The Emerging Player of the Season award and cash prize of Rs 5 lakh was won by RCB’s Shreyanka Patil, who performed brilliantly throughout the tournament.
• After this, if we talk about Most Valuable Player of the Season, this award and the cash prize of Rs 5 lakh was won by Deepti Sharma of UP Warriors, who has also won the matches single handedly for her team this season.
• RCB’s Shreyanka Patil, who took 13 wickets in 8 matches this season, won the Purple Cap and a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh.
• After this, if we talk about Orange Cap, this award and cash prize of Rs 5 lakh was won by Ellyse Perry of RCB, who scored 347 runs in 9 matches in the entire season.
• After this, if we talk about the cash prize given to the runner up, Delhi Capitals was given Rs 3 crore.
• So the same WPL 2024 winners RCB was awarded a cash prize of Rs 6 crore.
