WPL 2024: Virat Kohli also participated in RCB ‘s first title through video call

Virat Kohli, RCB: In WPL 2024, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team and their fans finally fulfilled the dream for which their eyes were waiting for the last 16 years. Finally, RCB felt the feeling of winning the title for the first time. Mandhana Brigade won its first title by defeating Delhi Capitals by 8 wickets in the final.

Smriti Mandhana talked to Virat Kohli on video call :-

After winning the trophy against Delhi Capitals, all the players of Royal Challengers Bangalore were seen celebrating the victory. Meanwhile, Smriti Mandhana was seen on TV and she was talking to Virat Kohli on video call. Virat first congratulated Smriti and then congratulated the entire team together for their first title.

Let us tell you that Virat Kohli captained the RCB men’s team for nine years and many times the team made it to the playoffs but could not win the title, but what the RCB men’s team could not do in 16 years, the women’s team did.

How much cash prize did the champion and runner up get : –

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not made any changes in the prize money of the Women’s Premier League this year. In such a situation, RCB has got the same prize money which Mumbai Indians got last year. Mumbai Indians were awarded a prize money of Rs 6 crore after becoming the champions of WPL 2023, while the runner-up Delhi Capitals got Rs 3 crore.

This year too, after becoming the champion, Royal Challengers Bangalore got Rs 6 crore and the runner-up Delhi Capitals got Rs 3 crore.
