WPL schedule: The BCCI has announced the schedule for the first edition of the Women’s Premier League. The tournament will start from March 4 and will be played till March 26. Total five teams will play 22 matches. All the matches will be played at two stadiums in Mumbai – DY Patil and Brabourne. 11-11 matches will be played in both the stadiums.
Within 23 days 20 matches will be played in the league round :-
Within 23 days, 20 matches will be played in the league round. Apart from this, an eliminator and a final match will be played. The first match will be played between Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians at DY Patil Stadium on March 4. At the same time, four double header matches will be played during the league round. That is, two matches will be played in a day.
The first match will start at 3.30 pm: –
The first match of WPL will start at 3.30 pm, while the second match will start at 7.30 pm. The last match of the league stage will be played on March 21 between UP Warriors and Delhi Capitals. Whereas, the only eliminator will be played at DY Patil Stadium on March 24 and the final will be played at Brabourne Stadium on March 26.

UP Warriors (UPW)
Out of total 448 players who came in the auction, only 87 players got bid :-
Out of the total 448 players who entered the auction, only 87 players got bids. At the same time, five franchises, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, UP Warriors, Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore together spent Rs 59.50 crore to buy them. Gujarat, Delhi and Bangalore bought maximum 18-18 players. Whereas, Mumbai bought 17 players and UP bought 16 players.
