Yorkshire has Appointed Former West Indies all-rounder Ottis Gibson as their new head coach, the club approved on Wednesday (January 19).

Otis Gibson has two assistant coaches. With him as part of the coaching staff and will report to Yorkshire Cricket’s interim acting director of cricket, Darren Gough.
The 52-year-old has played two Tests. and 15 ODIs for the West Indies and has enjoyed several stints in county cricket. With his 10-for main hypnosis in an innings for Durham against Hampshire in 2007.
He Served For Two Years :-
Gibson had recently been serving as Bangladesh’s bowling coach and decided not to renew his contract after a two-year stint.
He has also served as the bowling coach for England in the past. And as the head coach of South Africa and the West Indies.
He will take over till the end of February after completing his tenure. With Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League.

Gough supported that many high-profile candidates had applied for acting after Andrew Gayle’s departure. “Ottis is one of the best coaches in the world and that would be a great addition,” he added.
“His knowledge, commitment, experience, and knowledge of cricket will be important to us. As we step into the pre-season and build ourselves up.
