Younis Khan holds the record for scoring the most runs in Test cricket for Pakistan. He has scored 10099 runs in red-ball cricket for Pakistan.

Younis Khan, former coach, captain, and veteran batsman of the Pakistan National Cricket Team is celebrating his 44th birthday today. Khan was born on this day i.e. 29 November 1977 in the city of Mardan, Pakistan. He has participated in all three formats of cricket for his country. Khan holds the record for scoring the most runs in Test cricket for Pakistan. He has scored 10099 runs in red-ball cricket for Pakistan.

Khan is the only player in the world to score a century against 11 countries:

Apart from this, many special records are also recorded in the name of Pakistani veterans. He is the only player in the world to score a century in Test cricket against all 11 countries. Apart from this, he is the third player to score 300 or more runs in an innings for his team. Under Khan’s leadership, the Pakistani team created history by winning the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup title in 2009.

Regarding his cricket career, he contributed to Test cricket for Pakistan for almost 17 years. During this, he played 118 matches for his team and scored 10099 runs in 213 innings at an average of 52.0. He has 34 centuries and 33 half-centuries to his name in Test cricket. Khan’s personal best batting performance in Test cricket is 313 runs.

Playing 265 ODI matches for his team, he scored 7249 runs in 255 innings at an average of 31.2. He has seven centuries and 48 half-centuries to his name in the ODI format. His personal best batting performance in ODI format is 144 runs.

A total of 17790 runs have been scored from the bat of Yunus Khan in all three formats of international cricket. During this, he has scored a total of 41 centuries and 83 half-centuries.
