In a conversation with ‘Times of India’, Yuzvendra Chahal has given a big description describing his pain. Yuzvendra Chahal said, ‘I did not drop from Team India in the last four years. And after that, I was suddenly dropping from the team for such a big event. I felt very bad. I was down for two to three days. But, apart from that, I knew that the second leg of the IPL was just about to come.

Chahal broke his silence for the first time :-

Yuzvendra Chahal said, ‘I went to my coaches and talked to them a lot. My wife and family constantly encouraged me. My fans constantly shared motivational posts, which gave me strength. I decided to back my strength and come out of this confusion. I could not remain unhappy for long as it would have affected my IPL form.

Yuzvendra’s heart was broking by the selectors :-

Yuzvendra Chahal is considering one of the closest players of Team India’s captain Kohli. Both play together in RCB too, so there is a good bonding between them. The selectors had shown Yuzvendra Chahal the way out of the T20 World Cup squad.

For the T20 World Cup, the selectors had placed Yuzvendra out of spinners like Rahul Chahar and Varun Chakraborty, which backfired. Chahar did not even get an opportunity to play while I proved to be a flop badly. In the T20 World Cup, Varun Chakraborty drowned Team India’s loot.

At the time of announcing the Indian team for the T20 World Cup, Chief Selector Chetan Sharma had said, “We needed a leg-spinner in the team who could bowl at a high speed.”

Who can get a good grip from the pitch with fast speed? In such a situation, we chose Rahul in place of Chahal. But the spinner who was selected by the selectors in the T20 World Cup in place of Yuzvendra Chahal did not get an opportunity to play a single match.

Virat Kohli said this about Chahal:-

India captain Virat admitted that the decision to keep a player like Yuzvendra Chahal out of the T20 World Cup squad was a difficult one, but the pace of bowling on the slow pitches of UAE led to Rahul Chahar being selected.

Rahul Chahar took 13 wickets in 11 matches for Mumbai Indians in this season of IPL, but he did not get a place in the team in the final phase. At the same time, Chahal took 18 wickets in 15 matches and he took the most wickets for RCB after Harshal Patel (32 wickets).

Varun immersed in Team India :-

Giving place to Varun Chakraborty in the T20 World Cup proved to be the biggest mistake of the selectors of Team India. Seeing the dazzling performance of IPL, Varun Chakraborty was given an opportunity in the team the T20 World Cup, but his pole was exposed as soon as he came to this tournament.

Chakraborty did not get a single wicket in 3 matches of the T20 World Cup. Varun Chakraborty was given a chance in place of a formidable leg-spinner like Chahal, but the selectors will be very sorry for his mistake. Varun Chakraborty now rarely gets the golden time to play for Team India.
