All set to return as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman, Zaka Ashraf on Wednesday rejected the hybrid model for the Asia Cup 2023.

He said that the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) had given the rights to host the Asia Cup to PCB and it is our right to organize the entire tournament at our place. Pakistan will only host Nepal, which is sheer injustice.

There is currently no response from ACC or BCCI on Ashraf’s statement.

Ashraf, “Injustice happening to Pakistan” :-

Asia Cup 2023: New PCB chairman Ashraf said, “I do not agree to conduct the Asia Cup under the hybrid model. According to me, the entire tournament should be held in Pakistan. But the big matches will be played in Sri Lanka. Only the Nepal team will play in Pakistan.” This is injustice to us.”
