GCA: ODI series between India West Indies will be played without spectators

Ahmedabad, Feb 1 (PTI) The Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) on Tuesday said that the three-match ODI series. Between India and West Indies to be from February 6 to 11. Will be in an empty stadium without spectators due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These three matches will be at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

All set to host ODI series on India tour

GCA tweeted, “We are all set to host the ODI series on West Indies’ tour of India. The first ODI on February 6 will be a very special and historic match. As India will play their 1000th match in this format. Indian team will be the first cricket team in the world to achieve this feat. ,

The board said in another tweet, “In view of the current situation. All matches will be in empty stadiums without spectators. ,

After the ODI, both the teams have to play a three-match T20 International series in Kolkata. For which the West Bengal government has allowed 75 percent spectator attendance.
