Yashasvi Jaiswal achieved a special feat by scoring his second century of IPL against Mumbai

MI vs RR, Yashasvi Jaiswal century: Rajasthan Royals defeated Mumbai Indians by nine wickets to register their seventh win of the season. Rajasthan’s position in the points table has become stronger. The team remains in first place with 14 points. Whereas, Mumbai is at seventh place. The team has six points in its account. After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Mumbai Indians scored 179 runs after losing nine wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Rajasthan scored 183 runs losing one wicket in 18.4 overs.

Jaiswal scored a brilliant century against Mumbai Indians :-

Yashasvi Jaiswal gave a strong performance in the 38th match of IPL 2024. He hit a strong century by targeting bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah and Gerald Coetzee. The young batsman took the help of 59 balls for this. Interestingly, this is Jaiswal’s first century of this season. Apart from this, it is the second century of his IPL career. The 22-year-old batsman faced 60 balls in this match and scored 104 runs with the help of nine fours and seven sixes.

The opening batsman has set a new record with his explosive innings. He has become the first player to score two centuries in IPL before the age of 23. He scored his second century in IPL at the age of 22 years and 116 days. At the age of 21 years and 123 days, he had played an innings of 124 runs. He also scored the first wicket of his IPL career against Mumbai.
