Big Bash League 2021, The 41th match will be played between Sydney Sixers and Perth Scorchers (SIX vs SCO) at Manuka Oval, Canberra.
The Sydney Sixers will play the Perth Scorchers in honour of youth cancer patients on Saturday, continuing a proud association with the Sony Foundation Australia.
The Sixers match against the Scorchers in Canberra is one of the season’s most special for the Sixers squad playing in honour of the Sony Foundation Australia’s You Can Champs.
Justin Avendano made his Sixers return in the Smash and said the last loss to the Scorchers was just one to forget.
A win with all four points will see the Scorchers climb to second on the BBL|10 table with four games remaining in the home and away season.
Having missed the past match with a quad strain, Colin Munro returns to the squad and replaces Joe Clarke.
The swashbuckling Kiwi has scored a half century in his last three BBL innings and will be looking to become the second player in BBL history to score 50+ runs in four consecutive innings if selected tomorrow night.
Mitch Marsh is also out of the squad after sustaining a moderate grade left side strain while bowling against the Hurricanes.
