Shai Hope opened the innings with Kyle Meyers, who shared a 65-run partnership with Meyers for the first wicket. He shared a 62-run partnership with Brooke after Meyers was dismissed.
After Brook, he shared a brilliant 127-run partnership with West Indies captain Nicholas Pooran. Pooran also returned to the pavilion but Shai Hope remained on the ground and completed his century.
