Top Picks for 2nd ODI – ENG vs PAK
Fakhar Zaman was very composed at the crease in the 1st ODI. He defended the good balls and dispatched the odd bad deliveries. He was the top scorer for Pakistan with 47 runs from 67 deliveries.
Playing in his 1st ODI, Zak Crawley bought up his maiden half-century and remained unbeaten on 58 runs. He played the ball late and rotated the strike really well, which helped his side to chase the target quite easily.
Lewis Gregory took his maiden ODI wicket with a peach of a delivery by dismissing Mohammad Rizwan for 13 runs. The Somerset all-rounder is even handy with the bat as well.
Shadab Khan battled really hard in the 1st ODI for his 30 runs and was dismissed for a well-directed short delivery from Craig Overton.
Saqib Mahmood was top class with the new ball. With his express pace and impeccable lengths, he was unplayable in the first hour of play. He was the player of the match in the 1st ODI for outstanding figures of 4 for 42.
Shaheen Afridi was the lone wicket-taker for Pakistan in the 1st ODI. He has the ability to swing the ball both ways and uses his height to the maximum extent.
Mohammad Rizwan got the perfect start but was dismissed by an excellent delivery from Lewis Gregory when he was 13. He can be backed to do well in the 2nd ODI.
