Devine Leads Wellington Blaze Women to the Super Smash Title, Wellington Blaze going undefeated in the T20 summer on their way to their fourth crown in five years.

Sophie Devine aided the Wellington Firebirds with both bat and ball to go through the T20 Summer undefeated route on their way to their fourth Super Smash crown in five years.

A Cooperation in Setting The Object of 176 :-

Opening the bat, he played a 62-ball 92 to help the Firebirds set a target of 176.

Then with the ball, she valuables the big wickets of Katie Martin and Kate Ibrahim with her seam-up to assist the Otago Women for 100.

Devine’s century is with Captain Maddy Greene, who played a key role in setting up the launchpad for the Firebirds.

Maddy Green’s 55-run contribution came at a strike rate of 157.14, with their 110-run partnership coming off just 72 balls.

The Last Over Of Both Innings :-

Devine and Green both fell in the last over of the innings as star all-rounder Amelia Kerr missed the bat, scoring only 20 runs.

Otago was judged right from the start, as openers Polly Inglis and Suzy Bates fell off the ball in succession.
