India Premier League, 2021, Match-46th T20, and the match is going to be played between Mumbai Indians & Delhi Capitals and the match is all set to take place at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah.
Hello and welcome to another match of the series and it is the 46th match of the IPL 2021, series which is all set to take off today at 3:30 PM IST
Mumbai Indians won’t be happy with just one win for them after the restart of the series which do also not suit them at all. Known as the defending champion but is currently failed to do so, their batting and bowling unit both need a great impact in the game if they want to play in the playoffs however their middle-order batters are not that good except Saurav Tiwari who is continuously performing in the game whenever he getting an opportunity to do it, also Mumbai Indians need a good strategic game sense to win over Delhi because they are in a very good form and won’t be easy for MI to get over them however its a do or die game for Mumbai Indians.
On the other hand, Delhi Capitals must be happy after being qualify without doing anything just to see the game, Delhi Capitals have been in very good form in the previous matches where they have just lost one game against Kolkata but that was an easy chase for KKR also because DC currently missing out Prithvi Shaw a great talent show who can chase the target in no time so if he plays for today’s match he may damage Mumbai Indians so quickly if he stays for a while.
Prithvi Shaw and Marcus Stoinis are quite good as per the report but might be resting for today’s game against Mumbai Indians because they already have qualified for the PLAYOFFS so they won’t be needed for this match.
The pitch has nothing except slowing slightly, however because of short boundaries batters might be using the pace while batting first because chasing might be difficult at this venue because of the slowness of the pitch mostly in the previous six encounters where batters failed to score much here on the other hand bowlers are doing their best because of an assist from the pitch and the average score was 138-145 as per previous matches.
(MI) – Jasprit Bumrah has dismissed Delhi Capital’s Skipper Rishab Pant (5) times in this T20 format and the rivalry might stay for today’s game too.
