Netherland vs Ireland ODI  2021:

NED vs IRE – 3rd ODIAt – Sportpark Maarschalkerweerd, Utrecht

Preview –

The 2nd One Day International between Netherlands and Ireland turned out to be a one-sided affair. The Netherlands were bundled out for 157, and in reply to that, Ireland chased it down with seven overs to spare, leveling the series 1-1.

The Netherlands won the toss and opted to bat first. After the opening stand of 44 between the openers, they couldn’t stitch a partnership and the entire team was bundled out for a total of 157. From Ireland, Craig Young and Joshua Little picked up four wickets each.

In response, Ireland looked in firm control of the run chase. Captain Andrew Balbirnie (63) and Paul Stirling (52) ensured an emphatic victory. In the decider, Netherlands need to shift their focus on their batting again to put decent runs on the board

Pitch Report –

The pacers will get some movement initially in both the innings but the batters need to negate the initial phase then the batting team can put good runs on the board.  The team winning the toss should bat first in the decider match.
