IND vs AUS: Team India won the 5-match series 4-1 by defeating Australia by 6 runs in the 5th T20 played in Bengaluru. With this, India has come close to another world record of Pakistan.

Team India eyes another world record of Pakistan :-

Recently, Team India had broken Pakistan’s record of winning most matches in T20I, now Team India will be eyeing their record of most wins against one team. Pakistan has won the maximum number of 20 matches in this format against New Zealand, while this was India’s 19th win against Australia.

Apart from Australia, Team India has also won the same number of matches against Sri Lanka and West Indies. However, India may have to wait a long time to break this world record of Pakistan because there is no series against these three teams in the coming time.

  • India vs Australia – 19

IND vs AUS, 5th T20I: India batted first and scored 160 runs :-

If we talk about India vs Australia 5th T20, after losing the toss, Team India came to bat first and on the basis of Shreyas Iyer’s half-century, scored 160 runs on the board at the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Iyer played the highest innings of 53 runs in 37 balls with the help of 5 fours and 2 sixes, while Akshar Patel supported him fully by coming at number 7 and scoring 31 runs.

Australia’s Ben McDermott had troubled the Indian team :-

Ben McDermott, on behalf of the Australian team which came to chase this score, gave India a tough time. He played an innings of 54 runs in 36 balls with the help of 5 sixes. Ben McDermott did not hit a single four in the innings.

Apart from him, no other batsman could cross the 30 run mark. However, in the end Australia came close to India’s score. Kangaroos needed only 10 runs in the last over, but due to the excellent bowling of Arshdeep Singh, Team India spent only 3 runs and won the match.
