He was feeling nervous to play his first match in this season of IPL. But in his debut match itself, he impressed everyone by taking 2 wickets. He took four wickets in 6 matches throughout the season. The Delhi bowler was bought by CSK in a mega auction for Rs 20 lakh. While talking to CSK TV, Simarjit Singh told how Dhoni helped him. Regarding the bowling, Simarjeet further said, “All the coaches have played big. The scale helped my bowling. I worked with Eric Simmons, CSK’s bowling consultant, to develop my seam. Balaji sir guided me regarding my line and length.
