Virat Kohli and Harry Kane share is well doubted. Kohli had previously visited Kane during his visit to England with the Indian team with the two partaking in a session of cricket and football.

And the two’s comradery has emerged once again with Harry Kane taking to Twitter to ask Virat Kohli for a spot in the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League.

Sharing a video of him playing cricket during Tottenham’s indoor practice session, Kane went onto write, “Got a match winning T20 knock in me I reckon. Any places going for @RCBTweets in the @IPL next season @imVkohli??”

Kohli was quick to note Kane’s cricketing skill set as he replied to Kane’s request of playing for RCB.

“Haha good skills mate. Maybe we can get you in as a counter attacking batsman,” Kohli tweeted in reply to Kane.

RCB was quick to join in on the conversation as well with the side asking Kane his preferred number. “Jersey #10 will do, @Hkane?,” RCB asked Kane on Twitter.

Kevin Petersen meanwhile also commented on the video asking Kane who the left arm bowler was whose bounces Kane was seen veering clear off.

Tottenham’s affinity with the game of cricket has been revealed on a string of occasions with the side time and time again posting videos of its footballers partaking in a game of cricket. A previously shared video by Dele Ali had seen the footballer latch onto a well cued catch during a game at the club.

Tottenham meanwhile have showcasing their true forte on the football pitch with the club’s 0-0 draw taking them to the top of the Premier League with 21 points.

Things haven’t been quite so hunky dory for Kohli who has been ripped to shreds for his exasperating captaincy and team selection after going down 2-0 to Australia in the ODI series.
