A total of 991 players have registered for the IPL 2023 auction. Preparations are going on in full swing for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The Mini-auction to be held in Kochi later this month:-
While all the ten franchises have already released their list of retained and released players, they will now complete their respective squads at the mini-auction to be held in Kochi later this month.
Meanwhile, the player registration for the IPL 2023 auction ended on 30 November 2022, and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that a total of 991 players have registered for the auction to be held in Kochi on 23 December.
The BCCI revealed on 1 December that out of 991 registered players, 714 are Indian and 277 are foreign cricketers, including 185 capped, 786 uncapped, and 20 players from associate nations.
