Akash Singh was born on 26 April 2002 in Nagla Ram Ratan Village, Bharatpur, Rajasthan. His full name is Akash Maharaj Singh and his schooling Shardul Sports School, Bikaner. He is 4 siblings, two brothers, and two sisters.

Akash is an Indian cricketer. His batting style – Right-handed, Bowling style-Left-arm, fast-medium, Role-Bowler.

CAREER –

He made his 20-20 debut on 9 November 2019 for Rajasthan in the 2019-20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He represented India under 19 cricket team in the 2019 ACC under-19 Asia Cup in September 2019, three-match playing during the tournament. He was named to India’s squad for the 2020 under-19 Cricket World Cup, In December 2019. He was also called up to the India B cricket team for the U-19 challenger cup.

Akash Singh was bought by Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2021 auction and his base price of Rs.20 lakh. He was bought by Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2020 auction too but he did not get any opportunities to play in the tournament. This time, Rajasthan Royals once again bought the youngster and the franchisee might give him a chance to be part of playing 11. He made his List A debut on 23 February 2021 for Rajasthan in the 2020-21 Vijay Hajare Trophy.

Akash Singh was introduced to cricket by his elder brother Lakhan, who has played cricket at the district level. Akash developed a passion for cricket spot professionally at the age of 10 by getting enrolled at Shardul Sports school in Bikaner. While receiving cricket training at the academy, Vivek Yadav, a coach at Jaipur’s Aravali. In 2014, Akash moved to Jaipur and he has been training under Vivek Yadav.

He gained popularity after featuring in the ICC-U 19 Cricket World Cup 2020. His pace and ability to bowl sharp in-swingers separate him from other young bowlers.

In November 2017, Akash attained an incredible feat by picking all the 10 wickets bowling in a local T20 match held in Jaipur.
