Delhi Capitals Spinner Amit Mishra came out of the quarantine by defeating Corona
Leg spinner Amit Mishra of Delhi Capitals has undergone coronavirus test negative and has come out of quarantine. Amit was among the players who were found to be Corona positive during Indian Premier League 2021. This season of the Indian Premier League was postponed after Corona’s cases surfaced in the franchise.
Amit shared a photo with health workers on Twitter, writing, “Our frontline employees are real heroes. I was healthy because of the support of these people. We are thankful that you guys are making such a big sacrifice.” Amit was found infected with Covid-19 in Ahmedabad. Apart from him, other players of the team had returned.
Kolkata Knight Riders were the other team whose players were found to be Corona positive in Ahmedabad. Kolkata’s Prasidh Krishna, Tim Seifert, Varun Chakravarthy, and Sandeep Warrier were found infected with corona.
Some members of the Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad team were hit by the epidemic in Delhi. Chennai coaching staff members Michael Hussey and Lakshmipathy Balaji, while Hyderabad batsman Wriddhiman Saha was found infected.
