Behrendorff joins CSK in place of Hazlewood for IPL 2021

Star fast bowler Jason Behrendorff has been added to the team Chennai Super Kings (CSK) before the start of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League.

CSK announced the replacement of Josh Hazlewood. For the 14th season of the IPL, CSK has included Australia’s star fast bowler Jason Behrendorff in the team for IPL 2021.

CSK fast bowler Josh Hazlewood decided to stay out of the 14th season of the IPL. Josh Hazlewood preferred to spend time with family instead of playing IPL for two months while staying in the bio-bubble.

For the past several days, Dhoni’s team was looking for the replacement of Josh Hazlewood. On Friday, Chennai Super Kings have included Jason Behrendorff in the team as a replacement for Josh Hazlewood.

Behrendorff has been a part of Mumbai Indians before

Jason Behrendorff is going to be a part of the Indian Premier League for the second time. Behrendorff was previously a part of Mumbai Indians in 2019. Jason Behrendorff took five wickets while playing five matches for Mumbai Indians.

30-year-old Behrendorf is still in his early stages in international cricket. Behrendorff has played 11 ODIs and 7 T20Is so far. Behndorff has taken 23 wickets while playing for Australia in international cricket.

Chennai Super Kings, led by MS Dhoni, is looking for a great comeback in the tournament. Last year, for the first time in the history of IPL, Dhoni’s team missed out on a place in the playoffs. Under the leadership of Dhoni, Chennai Super Kings have won the IPL title three times.
