Usman Khawaja: Australia centurion savours Karachi homecoming

“We believe this group gives us great coverage and versatility across all formats, while others, as we saw last year, will continue to play a bigger role.

“With the tour of Sri Lanka, a home World Cup, a home summer. And a tour of India there is a lot more cricket to be played where the strength and depth of our squads will be challenged.

“To sign only 20 players was challenging given the number of significant series. And the cycle of the upcoming T20 and One-day World Cups. All of which would be expected to have different skillsets and combinations.”
