Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batting coach Michael Hussey found covid positive

The IPL’s 14th season has been postponed indefinitely despite the extremely tight arrangements in the bio bubble. During the Corona epidemic in the country, this T20 league was going on smoothly for the last one month, but it had to be postponed to Tuesday after several cases of Covid-19 were found.

After this incident in the afternoon, there was another news on Tuesday night. IPL source said that Chennai Super Kings batting coach Michael Hussey has been found to be Corona positive.

A day earlier, bowling coach, Lakshmipathy Balaji was also found positive. Hussey was investigated twice. The second sample has also turned positive after the first test is positive.

The sample of the first test, which took place on 3 May, arrived on 4 May. The team management still wants Hussey to get more tests done. The franchise hopes that their test will come negative. Dhoni-led CSK is currently in Delhi. After winning five out of seven matches, the team was in second place at the table.

Michael Hussey and Chennai Superkings have a close relationship. This batsman, known as Mr. Cricket, used to come in the middle order and score runs with the bat. In many difficult times, he has played the role of a troublemaker for the team.

Even the first century of IPL for CSK also came from this batsman of Australia. From the inaugural season of 2008 to 2013, he was with Chennai Super Kings. In 2014, he joined Mumbai Indians. After retiring later in 2018, the CSK franchise appointed him as their batting coach.
