“You should be in the team room at 11. You’ll be late. That’s not okay. You have to be on time,” Brevis said.

In response, Verma said, “I’m waiting for you over breakfast, come on man. It’s not fair,”

“When did I say you should be there?” Brevis returns.

Taking a friendly taunt at Brevis, Verma said, “But I’m waiting for you. I’m very loyal, no.

Not like you, you said you were coming and went straight to the team room. Have you had breakfast today?”

Brevis began to respond before Tilak cut him short and said, “I don’t care, but you should have your breakfast before 11 o’clock.”

Devald and Verma have advanced their A-game so far, although MI are yet to find their footing in the tournament.

The right-handed Verma has scored 183 runs in six matches at an average of 36.60 and a strike rate of 147.58.

Brevis, on the other hand, has 117 runs in the T20 league at an average of 29.25 and a strike rate of 17.05. During MI’s match against Punjab Kings (PBKS), he hit leg-spinner Rahul Chahar for four consecutive sixes.
