Mumbai Indians have lost all six matches so far. Their bowlers, led by Jasprit Bumrah, have disappointed. Unadkat, Basil Thampi, and Murugan Ashwin have all proved costly.
Said in the Press Conference before the match:-
CSK vs MI: Jaydev said in the pre-match press conference, “There is an expectation of collective effort and we have to emphasize that. We will do better by taking lessons from our mistakes.”
“Some of our bowlers have bowled some good overs but as a unit, we didn’t do well.
We’ve talked about how to play well as a unit. There is no talk of death overs or powerplay, only good performance as a unit.
Now the Remaining Right Matches have to be won:-
CSK vs MI: Mumbai will now have to win the remaining eight matches to stay in the race for the playoffs but Unadkat said he is not looking that far ahead.
He said, “There is no expectation of thinking so far ahead. We have to focus the match by match and fine-tune our performance.
