Former South African veteran batsman and AB de Villiers, known as Mr. 360 degree in the cricket world, wants to return to international cricket once again.

He wants to play the 2021 T20 World Cup for South Africa. After playing match-winning innings against Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday, AB de Villiers said that it would be fantastic to play international cricket again for South Africa. De Villiers said after playing match-winning innings for his team Royal Challengers Bangalore against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2021, “It would be fantastic if I could make a place in the team (South Africa). I am totally interested in it, As far as my form and my fitness are concerned, we have to select the best 15 players. We will plan accordingly. I will discuss this with Mark Boucher at the end of the IPL.

Significantly, Boucher had indicated the return of de Villiers to international cricket on Friday two days ago, Former South Africa wicketkeeper and current head coach Mark Boucher said that he had talked to de Villiers about this before the IPL.

Boucher had said, “I had talked to de Villiers before the IPL 2021. The conversation is still in the initial tour. De Villiers, after performing well in the IPL, has to prove that he can still dominate in international cricket. . “

De Villiers announced his retirement from international cricket in May 2018. He has played 114 Tests, 228 ODIs, and 78 T20 Internationals for South Africa.
