Indian Women’s Under-19 Team: The Indian Under-19 women’s team created history by winning the inaugural ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa. India won its first title by defeating England in the final match.

After winning the title, BCCI announced to give Rs 5 crore :-

After winning the title, the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced Rs 5 crore. Under the same, the check was handed over to Captain Shefali in the presence of BCCI President, Secretary and Sachin Tendulkar in Ahmedabad.

The third and deciding match between India and New Zealand was held in Ahmedabad. Before this match, the BCCI gave a prize of five crores to the Indian women’s under-19 team. In fact, the team has created history by defeating England in the Under-19 World Cup.

Sachin Tendulkar praised :-

Under-19 team captain Shefali Verma, who arrived in Ahmedabad, was presented a check of five crores in the presence of BCCI President Roger Binny, Secretary Jay Shah and master blasters Sachin Tendulkar and Rajeev Shukla. During this, Sachin said that the future of Indian women’s cricket is bright. Sachin said that women’s IPL will change the world cricket.

Indian team defeated England in the final :-

Let us tell you that England batted first in the Under-19 T20 World Cup final and the entire team was all out for only 68 runs in 17.1 overs. In response, the Indian team achieved the target by losing three wickets in 14 overs.

The Indian Under-19 women’s cricket team became the first champions of the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup. The women’s team will also be present in the match being played in Ahmedabad.
