Deepti Sharma: The Indian all-rounder was named as the vice-captain of UP Warriors. Agra-based Deepti was one of the most wanted Indian players at the auction.

He is one of the few players in the country who has featured in franchise tournaments outside India. Deepti, who has bagged 6 wickets in five matches in the 2023 Women’s T20 World Cup.

The Women’s Premier League will be played in Mumbai from March 4 to 26, 2023. A total of 22 matches will be played at the Brabourne Stadium and DY Patil Stadium, which will host the mega tournament.

UP Warriors begin their campaign with their second game of the day on March 5, when they face Gujarat Giants at the DY Patil Stadium.
