Delhi Capitals: Prithvi Shaw compares himself to David Warner, Delhi Capitals opener Prithvi feels that he is like David in terms of batting.

Both Shaw and David like to dominate with the first ball. The right-handed batsman also said that he is happy to open with Warner. Prithvi said that everyone in India is a Warner fan.

Prithvi Shaw Surprised by Warner’s ball:-

Shaw further said that he is happy to see David playing for DC. He said, ‘I am very similar to him in the way he plays, the way he attacks the ball, everyone becomes his fan.

I was really happy that I would see someone playing shots and trying to hit around.

I like to see these kinds of batsmen from the non-striker’s side. It was fun playing with them. I think we will complement each other.”

Prithvi Shaw working hard for DC:-

Warner could not contribute much for DC in his first match of IPL 2022. Shaw, however, played his blistering stroke play against Lucknow.

Prithvi Shaw scored 61 runs in 34 balls and clean bowled the Lucknow bowlers in the power play. He is definitely trying to do well in the ongoing season of IPL 2022.

A Lost to LSG by six wickets:-

Shaw’s batting, however, did not yield a favorable result for Delhi Capitals as they lost to Lucknow Super Giants by six wickets.

However, the youngster’s form will take some of the pressure off Warner, who is trying to come to the Grove for DC.
