Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya heaped praise on the rival bowlers after suffering a crushing eight-wicket defeat to Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League match here on Monday after three consecutive wins.

Even after Hardik’s unbeaten half-century, Gujarat’s team could only manage 162 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs.

Hyderabad chased down the target on the back of skipper Kane Williamson’s 57-run knock with five balls to spare.

At the award ceremony after the match, Hardik said, “We scored seven to 10 runs short while batting, those runs matter a lot in the end. Two bad overs in bowling spoiled our game.

Hardik Pandya said, “I think he bowled well in the last overs. There was unusual bounce on the pitch and their bowlers are of different lengths, which helped them. The way he bowled, credit should be given to him.”

Williamson Expressed happiness After the win:-

GT vs SRH: Man of the Match Williamson also expressed happiness over the improvement in the team’s performance. “We bowled well,” he said.

It was difficult to find momentum in the batting so we were trying to build partnerships.
