SRH Just Can’t Seem To Catch A Break!
After their loss to GT, they’ve been hit with another blow. Their star all-rounder, Wanindu Hasaranga, is out of the entire IPL season due to a heel injury.
SRH had bagged Hasaranga for a steal at his base price of 1.5 crore in the auction this year. They were counting on his spin magic, especially in the later stages when pitches get slower.
Hasaranga himself was pumped to join SRH in IPL 2024. But unfortunately, injury has sidelined him from his dream run.
This is a massive setback for SRH. They’ve already lost their first two matches, and now the road ahead seems even tougher without Hasaranga.
Still Hopeful Of Hasaranga’s Return:-
Hasaranga will travel abroad on March 31 for a checkup of his left ankle injury. Hasaranga’s manager said that based on expert advice he will decide on joining the IPL team. “He will definitely be involved, he wants to enjoy the IPL,” the manager insisted. We are in touch with the franchise.”
