IND vs SA T20 Series: Again experiment in Indian cricket, VVS Laxman can become the new coach of Team India

IND vs SA T20 Series: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is once again preparing to use two new coaches. The selectors can select different teams for the home T20 series against South Africa and the tour of England.

There may also be different coaches for both the teams. VVS Laxman can get this responsibility in the series against South Africa. Regular coach Rahul Dravid will accompany the main team to England.

Responsibility can also be given for two T20 matches against Ireland :-

Apart from the series against South Africa, Laxman can also be given this responsibility for two T20 matches against Ireland. Team India can be selected on 22 or 23 May. Rohit Sharma will captain the main team in England.

At the same time, Shikhar Dhawan can be given the command for the series against South Africa. Earlier, Rahul Dravid was made the caretaker coach for the tour of Sri Lanka last year. Then Chief Ravi Shastri was on a tour of England with Team India. Dhawan then captained Sri Lanka.

Indian team will play warm-up match in England :-

Team India will play a warm-up match against Leicestershire from June 24 to 27 before the Test match in Birmingham. Rahul Dravid will leave for England with his team on June 15 or 16. The board has approached Laxman for coaching for this reason.

The fifth match of the five-match Test series will be played in Birmingham from July 1 to 5. In August-September last year, Team India took a 2-1 lead in the series. The fifth test was postponed due to the coronavirus.

IND vs SA: Laxman has coaching experience :-

Former batsman Laxman is currently the head of the National Cricket Academy. He was given this responsibility after the exit of Rahul Dravid at the end of last year. Dravid then became the head coach of Team India. Laxman has coaching experience. He has been a part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad coaching team in the IPL.

He has also been the batting consultant of Bengal’s domestic team. Apart from this, Laxman was a member of the sports staff during the Under-19 World Cup earlier this year.

IND vs SA: Karthik and Hardik Pandya may return :-

Senior players can be rested in the series against South Africa. Dinesh Karthik and Hardik Pandya can be selected for the series. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant, who have played in all three formats, can be left out.

Sanju Samson, Rituraj Gaikwad, Ishaan Kishan, Umran Malik, Mohsin Khan, Jitesh Sharma and Rahul Tripathi can be included in the team.
