IND vs SA T20s: Virat Kohli’s poor form became a matter of concern for BCCI officials. Senior BCCI officials are worried about the performance of Virat Kohli, who has been out of form for a long time.
The Started Pondering Over Kohli’s T20 Future:-
It is being heard from the BCCI office that the selectors have started considering Virat Kohli’s T20 future with Team India.

Both the national selectors and the BCCI officials are very concerned about Kohli’s form.
IND vs SA T20s: Quoting BCCI sources, it was learned that the form of Kohli (Virat Kohli) is being discussed among the selectors.
The BCCI official said ‘He is one of the great players of Indian cricket. But for some time now his form has been a matter of concern for the national selectors and BCCI.
The BCCI Reacted to the Selection by saying:-

The selectors will have to take a call on Virat and other players. We cannot give them our verdict. Obviously, Virat Kohli will also be worried about his form, what is happening to him?
The last century in professional cricket with Virat’s bat came on 23 November 2019. Then he scored a century against Bangladesh in the Day-Night Test at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
After that, more than 100 matches have taken place, but Virat has not got a chance to accept the greetings of the audience by picking up the bat.
Virat had scored 973 runs in IPL 2016. Since then, he has been able to score more than 500 runs only once in a season of IPL.
Virat’s Performance in IPL 2022:-
Virat’s performance in the current season has been disappointing. In nine matches, Kohli has scored 128 runs at an average of 16. His highest score is 48 runs. Virat’s strike rate is also below 120.
He has scored runs at a strike rate of 119.62. RCB is yet to play five matches. The team expects a big inning from Virat in the remaining matches. Kohli himself would also like to end this bad phase.
Former Indian cricketer Ravi Shastri told Star Sports, “I am directly talking about the main player here. Due to busyness, fatigue dominates Virat Kohli. If anyone needs rest, it is Kohli.
The 5 Match T20 series against South Africa:-
IND vs SA T20s: BCCI has not yet announced when the Indian team will be selected for the 5-match T20 series against South Africa.
The selectors are likely to meet during the IPL playoffs in Ahmedabad to decide on the squad for the series.
