IPL 2021- Adam Zampa miss the opening matches for RCB

Australian spinner Adam Zampa, who plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League, will not play in some opening matches for RCB in IPL 2021.

The team’s director of cricketer Mike Hesson gave information that he is getting married soon due to which Zampa will not play in the starting matches.

RCB is scheduled to play their first match in the 14th season of the IPL with defending champion Mumbai Indians. The season is also beginning with this match.

Adam Zampa, who has 200 wickets in 173 T20Is, played only three games for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2020, taking two wickets.

Mike Hesson said, “Zampa will not play for RCB in the first few matches. he is getting married. This is a very special time in his life and we respect his decision. He will soon join the team and make a fresh start. ”

Most of the Royal Challengers’ foreign players will reach India on the basis of their international engagements and also on the basis of No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective boards.

After that, they would have to serve a quarantine period of seven days before joining the squad.

Royal Challengers will start their camp in Chennai on March 29, a day after India’s ODI series ends against England.

Players who are part of the ODI team in Pune will be hopping from one bubble to another will not have to serve quarantine.
