IPL 2021: Kane Williamson will replace Skipper Devid Warner

Sunrisers Hyderabad has made a shocking decision midway through IPL 2021. Removing David Warner from the captaincy position following their horror run. With only one victory from six matches. SunRisers Hyderabad has plummetted to the bottom of the points table. Moving forward, New Zealand captain Kane Williamson will lead the side. He would assume the spot from the SunRisers’ next game against the Rajasthan Royals.

“The decision has not come lightly as the management respects the enormous impact David Warner has had for the franchise over a number of years,” SunRisers said in a statement.

Kane Williamson, also the captain of his international side New Zealand. He is regarded as one of the modern-day greats in all three formats of the game.
