KKR vs RCB match in IPL 2021 has been canceled due to Covid-related concerns in the KKR camp. Kolkata players are isolating after 2 members of the camp tested positive.

The Indian Premier League (IPL2021) has been rocked by another Covid-19 case. The Kolkata Knight Riders players and staff have decided to isolate themself after multiple players fell ill ahead of their game against RCB today (Monday) in Ahmedabad.

As reported by ANI, the decision has been taken due to Covid-related concerns in the KKR camp where Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier tested positive for Covid-19.

A BCCI official confirmed that there are cases in the KKR camp. The RCB camp isn’t too keen to take the field against them. “Varun and Sandeep tested positive and that made the RCB camp wary of the situation. The game is set to be postponed,” the official told ANI.

Virat Kohli-led RCB has made a strong start in IPL 2021. The team has won five out of seven matches. On the other hand, Kolkata has been struggled to get going in the 14th edition. Kolkata is ranked second from the bottom in the points table with two wins from seven matches.
