However, Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah will join this training camp late. Both were currently part of the team in the Test match against Sri Lanka, so both will start their training late.

Both have flown in late last night to join the team while Ishan Kishan has taken a separate flight from Bengaluru after obtaining a fitness certificate from the BCCI’s NCA and will also attend the camp.

On the first day of training, the players were evaluated under the leadership of coach Mahela Jayawardene Cricket Director Zaheer Khan. Over the next 11 weeks, the coaching staff will hold sessions with young and domestic cricket players here and monitor their mental and physical aspects. Mumbai is in Group A along with Kolkata, Rajasthan, Delhi and Lucknow. This time Mumbai’s team has changed a lot. This time there are no names like Quinton de Kock, Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya in the team.
