Punjab Kings defeated Mumbai Indians by 12 runs in a thrilling match. This is the third win of Punjab in IPL 2022. At the same time, Mumbai had to face defeat in five consecutive matches. In this match, Odean Smith performed very well for Punjab . He went from villain to hero for Kings.

Punjab Kings had to face defeat by 6 wickets against Gujarat Titans. In this match, Odean Smith performed very poorly. Smith conceded 35 runs in three overs.

In the last over, Jitesh Sharma and Shahrukh Khan batted vigorously. Jitesh Sharma scored 30 runs and Shahrukh Khan scored 15 runs in 6 balls. For Mumbai, Dewald Brevis played a brilliant innings of 49 runs. Brevis hit four sixes in an over off Rahul Chahar.
