IPL 2022, PBKS: Liam Livingstone hit the longest six of IPL 2022, see the list of top-10 sixes of the league
PBKS, IPL 2022: In the 48th match of IPL 2022, Punjab Kings defeated Gujarat Titans by eight wickets. Punjab’s explosive batsman Liam Livingstone batted vigorously. In the 16th over, he scored 28 runs off six balls from Mohammed Shami and ended the match in the same over. During this, Livingstone also hit the biggest six of this season.

Livingstone’s longest six of the season in the 16th over off Shami’s first ball;-
In the 16th over, Shami’s first ball, which was a length ball, was hit by Livingstone for a 117m long six over deep square leg. This is the longest six so far this season. Earlier this record was in the name of Dewald Brevis of Mumbai Indians. He hit a 112 meter long six. At the same time, out of the longest five sixes of this season, Livingstone has three sixes. Apart from 117 meters, he has also hit sixes of 108 meters and 106 meters in IPL 2022.

Talking about the overall IPL, Livingstone’s six is at number eight (PBKS). The record for the longest six in the league in all seasons is held by former Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Albie Morkel. He hit a 125 meter long six. At the same time, Praveen Kumar with 124m and Adam Gilchrist with 122m long shot are second and third respectively.
In the overall league, four Indian players are included in the top-10 for the longest sixes. At the same time, two players from Australia, while one player each from New Zealand, South Africa, West Indies and England are included(PBKS).

Talking about the match, after winning the toss and batting first, Gujarat Titans scored 143 runs losing eight wickets in 20 overs. Sai Sudarshan played the highest innings of 65 runs. In reply, Punjab Kings chased down the target in 16 overs for the loss of two wickets. For PBKS Shikhar Dhawan scored an unbeaten 62, while Bhanuka Rajapaksa made 40 off 28 balls. Kagiso Rabada of Punjab received the Player of the Match award for taking four wickets.
