IPL 2022: Rashid Khan doing this special training to become a finisher like Dhoni, revealed himself

IPL 2022: In the current season of the Indian Premier League, spinner Rashid Khan has not been able to show his skills in bowling for his franchise Gujarat Titans. However, the 23-year-old has performed brilliantly with the bat. Rashid Khan has played match-winning innings for Gujarat against CSK (40) and SRH (31 not out) under extreme pressure conditions.

Rashid training to be a finisher like Dhoni

However, Rashid Khan has taken only eight wickets in 8 matches for the Hardik Pandya-led side in the current IPL season with an economy of 7.09. He said that his primary role as a bowler would continue. But he has been working on his batting for the last 2-3 years. Especially preparing to strengthen his franchise as a finisher like Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Rashid Khan said, ‘For the last two-three years, I have been working on my batting. I believe that I can finish for the team on the field. Rashid said, ‘I have that skill and talent, but it was just my confidence that I could finish the match. The best part is that I get more chances to bat in this team.

Rashid Khan played ‘Snake Shot’ :-

Facing his former franchise, Rashid Khan showed how explosive his batting can be. He played an unbeaten 31 off just 11 balls, which Gujarat chased down an impossible target of 195 runs in their victory over Hyderabad. During this, he played a shot like MS Dhoni’s helicopter shot, which Rashid Khan called ‘snake shot’.
