IPL 2022: Tata Group’s new app ‘Tata NEU’ is ready for launch, this year IPL 2022 will see a lot of new things. The title sponsor of the 15th season of IPL (Sponsor of IPL 2022) will be Tata Group.

A TATA GROUP Launches New App:-

Tata Group launched its special app (TATA GROUP Launches New App) before IPL. According to a report in ET, the super app ‘TATA NEU’ will be launched during the IPL this year.

IPL 2022: The report claims that the Tata Group will officially announce the launch of the ‘TATA NEU’ app on April 7. The ET report states that the launch of IPL will take place around 2022 with a great marketing campaign.

As already confirmed, Tata Group is the new title sponsor of IPL starting this year.

According to the report, Tata Group wants to leverage its best potential by launching its mega app (TATA GROUP Launches New App) around the IPL.

Tata has already launched the app over the past several months as a pilot project for the vast base of Tata Group employees.

The Tata’s Super-App ‘TATA NEU’:-

  • Tata Group assets such as online grocer BigBasket, e-pharmacy 1mg, electronics-focused retailer Croma will all be integrated on ‘TATA NEU’.
  • The app will provide flight booking services across Tata Group airlines including Air India, Air Asia, Vistara.
  • Tata Cliq, which sells products in Tata companies like Titan and Tanishq, has also been integrated on the ‘TATA NEU’ app.
  • Other Tata companies – Westside and Starbucks – will also be on the ‘TATA NEU’ app.

IPL 2022: Tata Group sources told ET, “The app is now ready with all major integrations. Using the popularity of IPL, ‘TATA NEU’ will definitely be launched next month.”

As per the latest information, the deal with Tata Group is 335 crores i.e. about 25% less than what Vivo had promised to the Indian board for the title partnership.

The reality is that instead of losing money on the deal transfer from Vivo to the Tata Group, the BCCI is actually making decent profits around it.

A IPL Title Sponsors:-

  • Vivo deal: 440 crores per season
  • Tata Motors offers 335 crores per season
  • Loss per season: 105 crores
  • Total loss in 2 seasons is 210 crores

The IPL Sponsors:-

According to sources, the deal (IPL sponsors) has been transferred in such a way that Vivo will bear all the losses.

According to information received by InsideSport, BCCI will not only get the contract amount from Vivo.

Rather, the increase in the number of matches of IPL 2022 and IPL 2023 will also get pro-rata payments.

Vivo had agreed to pay an amount of Rs 484 crore for IPL 2022 and Rs 512 crore for IPL 2023 due to the increase in the number of matches during the coming two seasons.
