Ian Bishop believes that Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson is in good form and strong enough to return to the Indian T20 team after not playing impressive innings in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Missing the opportunity to make a claim.

IPL 2022: This wicket-keeper batsman (RR Captain Sanju Samson) has still not been able to cement his place in the Indian T20 team.
A good performance in the IPL could help him stake a strong claim for a place in the T20 World Cup squad.
He’s Wasting These Opportunities:-
Bishop said on ESPNcricinfo’s ‘T20 Time Out’, “When Jos Buttler is unable to score big then Sanju has a good opportunity to score runs and make a strong claim to return to international cricket but He is wasting these opportunities.”
Samson has a charming game when he is in rhythm. But he is not consistent and he is not playing the kind of impressive innings that is expected of him. He played the last T20 match for India against Sri Lanka in February.
IPL 2022: Buttler was dismissing early in the previous match. Against Royal Challengers Bangalore and Samson had an opportunity.
He also seeming to be in rhythm but after scoring 27, he rewarding his wicket in an attempt to reverse sweep Sri Lankan spinner Wanindu Hasaranga.
I Am A Fan of Sanju Samson
Bishop said, “It is not that Sanju is not in form. But he is easily losing his wicket. I am a fan of Sanju Samson, (but) he is ruining his good form due to shot selection.”
IPL 2022: Former New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori feels batting is easy for Samson (RR Captain Sanju Samson) and in such a situation, he tries to try a lot of things.

Vettori said, “It seems that the game is too easy for him, and so he is trying to do something different.
He wants to play every shot in the book. When he is in rhythm, he enjoys watching but when everything seems easy he gets out.
