IPL 2022: The career of an explosive player, who won the IPL trophy on his own to Kolkata Knight Riders, was lost in oblivion that now there is no discussion of his name. If this player had not created half century with the bat against CSK in the 2012 IPL final, then perhaps the team of Kolkata Knight Riders would not have won the IPL title in the year 2012.

IPL 2022:This explosive player who won the trophy for KKR lost in oblivion :-

Manwinder Bisla played an important role in winning the trophy for KKR for the first time by playing a match-winning innings of 89 runs in 48 balls against CSK in 2012 IPL. He also got the ‘Man of the Match’ award for this innings.

He failed to maintain his form in the next season. Then KKR released him. In the year 2015, Bisla joined RCB, but he did not get much opportunity. He stayed away from IPL for 6 years.

Rahul Sharma

Googly bowler of Punjab Rahul Sharma bowled very effectively for Pune Warriors in the 2011 season of IPL. He took 16 wickets in 14 matches with an economy rate of 5.46. Rahul Sharma came into limelight due to his magical performance against Mumbai Indians.

Due to his excellent performance in IPL 2011, he got an opportunity to play in the Indian team; he played a total of 4 ODIs and 2 T20 Internationals; but his national tenure was not as successful as in 2011 IPL and later he removed from Team India. He also had to be out of the IPL due to poor performance for a long time.

IPL 2022: Paul Valthaty

Paul Valthaty came into the limelight after scoring a match-winning century for Kings XI Punjab against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in 2011. He was an important player for Punjab till the year 2012; where he used to open the innings and score runs very fast.

Valthaty was one of the few players who recorded 4 wickets and a half-century in a single IPL match. However, neither Punjab nor any other team picked him after the 2012 season. In his IPL career, he scored 505 runs in 23 matches at an average of 23 with one century and one half-century.

• Swapnil Asnodkar

IPL 2022: While most of the players struggled to figure out their success mantra in the first season of IPL, young Goa wicket-keeper batsman Swapnil Asnodkar stunned everyone with a stellar start with the veteran Graeme Smith.

He scored a total of 311 runs in 9 matches at an average of 34.55 and strike rate of 133.47. However, Asnodkar could not repeat his 2008 history in the next season; as he could manage only 112 runs in 11 matches. His poor form continued for a long time and he was out of the IPL.

• Doug Bollinger

IPL 2022: Australia’s left-arm fast bowler Doug Bollinger was part of the CSK team between 2010 and 2012, where he played a key role in Chennai Super Kings’ two title victories. In his IPL career, he took 37 wickets in 27 matches at an average of 18.72. Surprisingly, Bollinger was ignored despite having a good record with the ball.
