IPL 2023 Auction Live Streaming: Star Sports launches promo for mini auction

IPL 2023 Auction Live Streaming: The playersโ€™ auction for the IPL 2023 season will be held in Kochi on 23 December. 991 players have registered for the mini-auction. Which includes 714 Indian and 277 foreign players. Star Sports Network will telecast this auction for which it has also launched a promo.

IPL 2023- 10 to 16 players on the roster of all teams-

During the IPL 2023 auction, a total of 10 teams will compete against each other to rope in their strong players. Since IPL 2023 auction is a mini-auction. Thatโ€™s why many franchises have kept players on their teams. Currently, all teams have 10 to 16 players on their rosters. Each team will be allowed to select a maximum of 25 players for their roster during the auction.

While there is a lot of excitement among the fans for this auction, the broadcaster of the auction, Star Sports has also launched a promo for the auction.

Live Streaming and Broadcasting-

The IPL 2023 auction will be telecast live on Star Sports channels for Indian viewers. Viacom18 holds digital rights for IPL 2023 in India and the Indian subcontinent. As a result, the auction can be streamed live on the Jio Cinema app.

Rules-

  • No franchise will be allowed to spend more money on any player than the amount available.
  • At least 75% of each teamโ€™s entire budget must be spent.
  • The franchisees will not have access to the Right to Match (RTM) card option.
  • Each team should have at least 18 players and no team should have more than 25 players.
  • Each franchise can have a minimum of 17 and a maximum of 25 Indian players.
