IPL 2023, MS Dhoni knee injury: Chennai Super Kings will play their first match in IPL 2023 against defending champions Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday. CSK’s troubles have increased as skipper MS Dhoni has injured his left knee.

IPL 2023: Suspense on playing in MS Dhoni’s first match :-

Suspense has been created on MS Dhoni playing in the first match, but the CEO of the team has brought relief to the fans by giving a big update. MS Dhoni felt pain in his left knee during the practice session in Chennai, due to which he did not take part in CSK’s training at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Thursday.

What did the CEO of CSK say :-

Speaking to PTI, Chennai Super Kings CEO Kashi Viswanathan said, “As far as I know, MS Dhoni is playing 100 percent. I don’t have any other information.

If Dhoni does not play, then the CSK team can hand over the responsibility of the wicketkeeper to either Devon Conway or Ambati Rayudu as the franchise does not have a wicketkeeper of Dhoni’s level.
