According to a UPCA official, it is no longer possible to shift the match to another city. In such a situation, it is possible that the match between LSG and CSK will be played without spectators. However, BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla will soon meet Chief Minister Yogi in this regard.

UPCA CEO Ankit Chatterjee says that there are civic elections in Lucknow on May 4 and in such a situation, security arrangements can definitely be a big issue. But, so far no inability has been expressed by the district administration in this regard.

There was also a meeting on Tuesday regarding the security arrangements for the upcoming matches at Ekana Stadium. In addition to senior officers of the police administration, officials of the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association and the Board of Control for Cricket in India were also present.

Ankit Chatterjee told that nothing special happened in the meeting regarding the match between Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings. However, the final decision on this has to taken by the BCCI and the district administration.

IPL for the first time in Lucknow :-

IPL is being organized for the first time at Ekana Stadium. Lucknow Super Giants have to play seven matches at their home ground Ekana Stadium. Two matches have been played in these. Lucknow Super Giants registered a resounding victory in both these matches.
