IPL 2023 Final: Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. Indra Dev rained heavily in Ahmedabad on Sunday night and the players did not get a chance to take the field. The title match between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans will now be played on May 29, the reserve day.

This will happen for the first time in the history of IPL :-

This will be the first time in the history of IPL, when the final match of the tournament will be played on Reserve-Day. Never before in the Indian Premier League has the champion team been decided on a reserve day. It rained continuously on 28 May and due to this not a single ball could be bowled. The umpire decided to have the final match on a reserve-day due to the bad outfield of the ground due to rain. On May 29, the match will start at 7.30 pm and will be played for 40 overs.

Golden opportunity near Chennai :-

Chennai Super Kings will have a golden opportunity to lift the IPL trophy for the fifth time. CSK has won the IPL title four times under the leadership of MS Dhoni. Mumbai Indians are the only team in the Indian Premier League to have won the trophy five times. If Dhoni’s Yellow Army is successful in defeating Gujarat in the final, then it will also equal Mumbai’s record.
