IPL 2023, GT vs PBKS: Dasun Shanaka To Make His IPL Debut, Hardik Pandya Returns?

GT vs PBKS, Hardik Pandya Returns: Gujarat Titans (GT) will be up against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their fourth game of the 2023 edition of the IPL on Thursday, April 13. Both teams are coming off a loss in their respective games and the Titans were on the receiving end of the infamous Rinku Singh heist a few days ago.

Since it’s been four days, the Titans would have put that aside and will be eager to get back to winning ways as the home team Punjab Kings have got the reinforcement in the form of Liam Livingstone.

Hardik will most likely replace Abhinav Manohar :-

The Titans were without their skipper Hardik Pandya in their last game, who was ill and the star all-rounder is likely to come back for the Mohali clash. Hardik will most likely replace Abhinav Manohar in the side.

Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka most likely Josh Little :-

GT could look at a couple of more changes. Since Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka is now available after being done with national duty, he is likely to come in straight away most likely in place of Ireland pacer Josh Little as he will provide depth to the GT line-up with both bat and ball.

The Titans might give Yash Dayal rest :-

Left-arm pacer Yash Dayal was the unfortunate one being on the wrong side of the carnage. The Titans might give him a rest for a game and look at someone like Shivam Mavi, who was brought into the side as Mohammed Shami’s backup.

However, Ashish Nehra as the coach will know that benching Dayal now may dent his confidence and could keep him in the side giving him a chance to come back strongly.
